Somatic Psychotherapy

ABOUT ME

I believe that we hold our stories and trauma in our bodies.

My work combines psychodynamic, parts work and somatic approaches, blending insight and emotional exploration with body-based awareness. I seek to assist clients in understanding the deeper patterns that shape their lives while learning how to regulate their nervous system and feel more grounded in the present moment. I draw from Pain Reprocessing Therapy, Brainspotting, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Hakomi, the Nurtured Heart Approach, the Safe and Sound Protocol by Dr. Stephen Porges, neural retraining methods, humanistic and liberation psychology. Much of this work involves restoring the nervous system’s natural sense of safety so that healing can unfold naturally. When we shift how we relate to our experiences, we change how we think, feel, and move through the world.
